You don’t have to travel far to find the best music instruction in Philadelphia. We’re just a short drive from Mt. Airy at 3502 Scotts Lane (Building 14) in East Falls. Our location makes it easy to fit lessons into your busy schedule, whether you’re coming from Germantown Avenue, Lincoln Drive, or anywhere else around Mt. Airy.
Each of our music instructors is a performing musician, and most hold degrees in music. You’re not getting Mt. Airy music lessons from people who play as a hobby. You are learning from active musicians with real-world playing experience who understand how to progress from beginner to playing for an audience.
We don’t just teach lessons. We actually give you a platform to perform, with biannual concerts that afford you legitimate stage experience. We also run a rock band program called Grace the Stage, where students can collaborate with peers and share their creation with family and friends.
Everyone is welcome at Rawk U. You can be a total beginner, an advanced virtuoso or something in between, and we will meet you where you’re at with customized lessons that go at your ideal pace.

Piano is like no other instrument for understanding the theoretical component of music. Our lessons blend the essential classical fundamentals with the songs you actually want to play, giving you a strong musical foundation to build on with your unique style.
Don’t just dream of being in a rock band. Live it out with Rawk U’s Grace the Stage, our signature rock band program that brings Mt. Airy area students together for 6 weeks of collaboration, rehearsal, and live performance. Students ages 10 to 17 build teamwork, leadership, and stage presence that reaches far beyond music. Current students only (6+ months of lessons recommended).
