“Most people think they can’t sing–but that’s rarely about ability, it’s about confidence. We help students break through that fear by focusing on what matters: connecting with the music you love. Technique comes naturally when you’re enjoying what you’re singing and feel supported in the process.”

My son has been taking electric guitar lessons, and he's doing awesome! His growth has been quick and he loves his lessons. Thanks, Mr. Jessie!Posted on Ty GivensTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've been learning guitar with Jessie for about 7 months now and it's been a great experience. I've gone from not even knowing how to hold a guitar to being able to play the chords to many of my favorites songs (albeit slowly lol). Jessie seems young but he is a wealth of knowledge. Rawk U is definitely worth a look if you're looking for music instruction.Posted on Emily RossTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jessica, my extremely supportive and creative voice teacher, is the best there is. Whether you are a child or an adult learning how to sing, she makes it easy and fun. I am lucky to have found such a great teacher. Love Rawk U!!!Posted on MichelleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent institution which really brings the best out of every student. My daughter loves taking voice lessons with them.
Our signature 6-week program gives vocalists the chance to front a real band, performing multiple songs with full instrumentation. Must be an active student for at least 6 months.
Many singers benefit from learning piano to understand music theory, accompany themselves, and expand their musicianship.
Yes, anyone can sing! And we mean anyone! Your voice is an instrument, and like any instrument, it can be trained and developed with proper technique and practice.
Whatever age your heart feels is right–seriously, from 0 to 100! Currently, we teach students ranging from 5 to 60 years old, but age is just a number when it comes to singing.
We teach jazz, classical, musical theater, rock, pop, and more. The style taught depends on what you want to learn!
Just yourself and a healthy mindset filled with love for music. Maybe a water bottle if you need to stay hydrated–that’s important for singers!
Your voice is a muscle like your arms or legs–you want to work it enough to develop and strengthen it, but not overwork or strain it. Try to sing at least something daily, even just a 2-second jingle! Even talking is “practicing” your voice. If something feels wrong or too much, stop. It varies greatly by person.
Absolutely! Performance skills and stage presence are innately part of the art form of learning to sing, so yes, they’re built into our singing lessons in Philadelphia.
Of course! Many of our voice students participate in our “Grace the Stage” rock band classes, where they get to front a real band with full instrumentation.
